‘I Don’t Want Her Back’ — Ned Nwoko Responds to Regina Daniels’ Allegations

Senator Ned Nwoko, who represents Delta North in the National Assembly, has firmly rejected reports suggesting he is making efforts to mend his fractured relationship with Nollywood star and estranged wife, Regina Daniels.

The rumours gained traction after Regina alleged that the lawmaker had been sending relatives to appeal on his behalf while simultaneously criticising her online. Her colleague, Doris Ogala, also amplified these claims through a post on Instagram, fueling public speculation.

In a statement released by his communication team, Nwoko dismissed the claims as entirely false, insisting he has not initiated any private conversations with the actress and has no intention of reconciling.

According to the Senator, Regina’s accusations—ranging from drug use to sexual misconduct—are “baseless, unprovable and deliberately concocted.” He linked her recent outbursts on social media to what he described as the lingering impact of drug abuse.

Nwoko revealed that their last WhatsApp exchange ended with a stern warning from him, urging Regina to return to rehabilitation or risk losing his financial support. He alleged that shortly after the conversation, Regina became destructive, damaging vehicles and other properties in a fit of rage.

He also addressed a controversial video Regina recently uploaded, which showed him in the bathroom. Nwoko said he was stunned that such a private moment would be shared publicly, calling it an invasion of his privacy.

The Senator claimed Regina had been making progress at a rehabilitation facility, but relapsed around her birthday celebration after allegedly indulging in hard drugs for four consecutive days with friends.

Nwoko reiterated that he has moved on and has no intention of bringing Regina back into his home, urging the public to disregard the circulating reports.
