Grammy-winning and nominated stars like Wizkid and Tems, along with Tiwa Savage, P-Square, and supporting acts such as Buju, Omah Lay, Simi, Ckay, Ladipoe, Wurld, BlaqBonez, Jer, Lovn, ShowDemCamp, Lady Donli, and others, are set to perform at the Livespot X Festival. Tribune Online reports that the festival will include special events for Gen Z audiences aged 13 to 20, called “Gen Z Republik,” running daily from 11 am to 5 pm between December 16 and 20 at the soon-to-be-unveiled Livespot Entertainment Center in Ikate, Lekki. This segment will feature games, creator spaces, dance, art, and live music performances from emerging young stars.
The Livespot X Festival, an annual project by the creative collective Livespot360, will span six days of immersive, multi-sensory hybrid events at the purpose-built Livespot Entertainment Center. Known for its quality entertainment, Livespot360 aims to revive nightlife with this festival. In 2019, they brought Cardi B to Lagos for a memorable performance.
This year, Tems, famous for her hit with Wizkid, *Essence*, will headline the first day, while Tiwa Savage will lead on the second day with her 2021 anthem *Somebody’s Son*. Psquare, recently reunited, will make a comeback performance on day three. Wizkid will take the stage on the fourth day, capping a successful year with his *Made in Lagos* album. DJ Spinall will keep the energy high on day five with his “Party of Dreams,” following his international festival performances. The festival will conclude with the Grand Finale of Gen Z Republik on the sixth day, featuring surprise live performances and other exciting activities.
