Google has officially begun accepting applications for its upcoming Software Engineering Apprenticeship program, scheduled to launch in September 2025 at its Paris headquarters.
This sought-after apprenticeship is designed for tech-enthusiastic students aiming to begin their careers with one of the world’s leading tech powerhouses.
The company describes the program as an exceptional opportunity offering direct experience in software development, coding, testing, and project execution, all within live Google engineering teams. “As an apprentice in software engineering, participants will rotate through various roles, gaining skills in areas like programming, project oversight, and debugging,” Google explained. “You’ll tackle real-world challenges, learn multiple programming languages, understand testing frameworks, and observe how professional-grade software is conceptualized and delivered.”

Who’s Eligible to Apply?
This apprenticeship is open to candidates already authorized to work in France. This includes:

Citizens of the EU or European Economic Area with legal work rights in France

Non-EU applicants who already possess a valid French work permit or residence status that allows apprenticeship arrangements

To qualify, candidates must currently be enrolled in one of the following educational tracks:

A one-year Master 2 degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering for the 2025/2026 academic year

A three-year engineering program (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in partnership with a CFA (Centre de Formation d’Apprentis)
