The Oyo State chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) hosted its 2021 annual dinner and awards night, honoring notable individuals and organizations for their contributions to society. The event, held at Premier Hotel’s Oduduwa Hall in Ibadan, brought together public relations practitioners, dignitaries, and awardees.

Some of the honorees included:

– Dr. Yinka Ayefele, CEO of FRESH FM, who received a prestigious award in entertainment

– Mrs. V.A. Samson, managing director of BOVAS Group, recognized for her excellent performance in the oil and gas industry

– Dr. Oladokun Olatunde, CEO of SEAP Microfinance Bank, awarded for his contribution to entrepreneurship development

– Mr. Makanjuola Ojewumi, estate surveyor and CEO of Knight Services and Jericho Mall, honored for his contribution to the real estate industry

– Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi, recognized for his contributions to education development

– Mr. Olufemi Onireti, ace politician and philanthropist, awarded for his outstanding contributions to community development A posthumous award was also given to Late Mr. Henry Adegbuyi, former chairman of the Oyo State chapter of NIPR, for his selfless service.
