Nigerian musician Lanre Fasasi, better known as Sound Sultan, has officially announced the second edition of his acclaimed Broadway-style musical, Jungle Story 2. The production is set to take place from Friday, October 4th to Sunday, October 6th at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos, with performances scheduled for 3 pm and 7 pm each day.

The highly anticipated musical, a sequel to the 2018 edition, explores societal issues in Nigeria through the lens of a fictional land transformed into a jungle due to corruption. Produced by Sound Sultan’s Naija Ninja Productions, the show features an impressive lineup of top Nigerian entertainers, including Femi Kuti, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Odunlade Adekola, 2Baba, Kate Henshaw, and MI Abaga, among others.

Speaking about the inspiration behind Jungle Story, Sound Sultan described it as his creative reflection on the challenges facing Nigeria, using allegory to address the consequences of corruption.

The production promises to be a must-see event for theatre and music enthusiasts.
