Emmanuella Reacts as Carter Efe Claims He’s Been Single for a Year

Emmanuella, the mother of Nigerian streamer Carter Efe’s child, has finally addressed the controversy that followed his recent claim that he has been single for more than a year.

According to reports, Emmanuella shared an emotional video on Instagram explaining that she never intended to air her personal affairs publicly.

However, she said she felt compelled to speak after seeing how the narrative about their relationship was portrayed online.

She revealed that Carter Efe’s statement came as a shock to her, particularly his assertion that they had been apart for over a year. While admitting that they were not officially in a relationship, Emmanuella said they remained close until recently and were intimate only days before his public post, making his claim confusing and painful.

Emmanuella noted that the situation was especially hurtful because they share a child together. She accused the streamer of being overly controlling and interfering with her personal ambitions and career choices.

According to her, she studied medical anatomy with the intention of working in a hospital, but said Carter Efe discouraged her from pursuing the path, alleging that she would engage in inappropriate relationships with doctors. She further claimed that her aspiration to become an actress was also shut down due to his lack of support.

The mother of one also alleged that Carter Efe frequently reminded her that her online visibility was tied to him and that he could take it away at any time. She claimed he contacted her shortly before making his post, warning that he would release damaging information about her and destroy her public image.

Following the post, Emmanuella said she felt emotionally exhausted and struggled to understand why such statements were made publicly. While she acknowledged that Carter Efe had the right to say they were no longer together, she insisted that attacking her character online was unfair.

She also disputed his implication of long-term separation, stating that she still has to personally reach out to him before he provides financial support for their child.
