The value of the Naira appreciates by 0.08% during the window for exporters and investors.

Naira Depreciates Against the Dollar Amid Rising Demand and Tight Liquidity frontpage news

At the Investors and Exporters window on Friday, the value of the Naira rose versus the US dollar, trading at N430.33.

Compared to Thursday’s exchange rate of N430.67 for the dollar, the number indicated a 0.08 percent increase.

On Friday, the open indicative rate ended the day at N429.50 to the US dollar.

Before it settled at N430.33, the highest rate of exchange throughout the day’s trade was N444 to the dollar.

During the day’s trade, the value of the Naira dropped as low as N417 to the US dollar.

The official Investors and Exporters window saw 82.38 million dollars in foreign exchange transactions on Friday.
