What’s New in One UI 7?

Galaxy AI Integration

Samsung introduces several new features in One UI 7, including advanced AI capabilities. Similar to Apple, One UI 7 adds support for writing tools. These tools allow users to summarize content, check spelling and grammar, and format long notes into bullet points. Additionally, the update introduces call transcripts in 20 languages, including English (India) and Hindi. This feature can be enabled in the settings to automatically record calls and create transcripts for future reference.

Now Bar

One standout feature of One UI 7 is the Now Bar, integrated directly into the lock screen. This new notification system gives users quick access to tools like the interpreter, music player, and stopwatch. Samsung designed this feature to reduce the need for unlocking devices, enhancing efficiency and convenience.

Redesigned Home Screen and Enhanced Customization

The update also brings a redesigned home screen, improved widgets, and an updated lock screen, allowing users to customize their devices more intuitively. The camera app has been revamped, with reorganized controls for a clearer layout. Pro video modes now include simplified manual settings and a new zoom control, making transitions during recordings smoother.
