Doris Ogala Arrest: VeryDarkMan Threatens to Release Explosive Evidence

Lady Accuses Verydarkman of Fake Bank Transfer, Sparks Online Reactions frontpage news

Controversial social media activist Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has warned that he will release what he claims to be explosive and criminal evidence against two prominent clerics if Nollywood actress Doris Ogala is not released from detention by Tuesday, December 23, 2025.

According to reports, the influencer made the declaration on Sunday via a video posted on his Instagram page, where he reacted angrily to Ogala’s arrest. In the video, VeryDarkMan alleged that the actress was taken into custody because she possessed sensitive materials that could implicate certain religious leaders.

He claimed that security agencies were attempting to seize and erase the evidence in her possession.

“Let her go,” he said in the video. “Anything you think is on her phone is already with me. So releasing her is the best option.”

Issuing a clear deadline, he added that failure to release Ogala by Tuesday would trigger the public release of the alleged evidence. “If you don’t let her go, then we all begin. And when I begin, I go very hard,” he warned.

Allegations Against Religious Leaders

VeryDarkMan specifically named Pastor Chris Okafor of Grace Nation Bible Ministry and Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, accusing them of manipulating Ogala and using her to conceal what he described as serious crimes. He insisted the actress was more of a pawn than a mastermind.

“Doris is not as wicked as the pastors who used her to cover atrocities,” he alleged, claiming she was promised material rewards in exchange for her cooperation.

He further accused unnamed religious leaders of abusing their influence and exploiting women and minors under the guise of spirituality. “These so-called men of God hide behind the name of Jesus Christ to take advantage of women, children, boys, and even married women,” he said.

‘She Was Used’

The activist maintained that Ogala had already handed over all relevant evidence to him before her arrest. While acknowledging that she may have played a role, he described her as someone who acted under manipulation.

“Doris was used. She was an accomplice, yes, but she was used,” he stated, adding that many women had similar experiences involving powerful religious figures.

VeryDarkMan also claimed he had taken precautions to prevent the evidence from being suppressed. According to him, the materials have been shared with multiple trusted individuals in case he is arrested.

“I have more than enough proof, and it will get very messy,” he said. “I’ve sent the evidence to over 20 people. Even if they pick me up, the evidence will still be everywhere.”

Directly addressing the clerics, he concluded with a stern warning: “Chris Okafor, Jeremiah — I’m talking to you. If I don’t see Doris released by Tuesday, all hell will break loose.”

Background to the Arrest

Doris Ogala’s arrest has sparked intense debate across social media platforms. The actress was reportedly detained on Saturday, December 20, 2025, following a public dispute with Pastor Chris Okafor, whom she accused of failing to honour a promise of marriage.

Prior to her arrest, Ogala made several Instagram posts alleging that she helped Pastor Okafor and Prophet Fufeyin suppress investigations related to a missing child identified as Testimony, along with other alleged criminal issues.
