Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has publicly taken aim at his fourth babymama, Ashabi Simple, accusing her of disrespecting his wife, Bewaji.

According to Legit, the drama escalated after Ashabi published a cryptic social media post that many believed was a subtle jab aimed at Bewaji.

In response, Portable released a flurry of voice messages, warning Ashabi to “stay in her lane.”

In one of the messages, he said: “Don’t ever disrespect my wife, Bewaji. She is always minding her business… You got pregnant and I accepted you. What else do you want? Stay in your lane.”

Portable emphasized that Bewaji stood by him through tough times, and argued that his relationship with Ashabi is conditional on Bewaji’s approval: “If she didn’t approve you, you would not be with me today…”

Ashabi, for her part, had in earlier posts asked whether one can “keep a man who doesn’t want to be kept,” a comment many interpreted as criticism of Portable’s marital status.
