Suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has declared that the current political crisis will not break the people but will, instead, strengthen them. Despite acknowledging the heavy toll of the political turmoil, Fubara hinted that supernatural forces might be influencing events beyond human understanding. Drawing strength from religious history, he urged his supporters to practice patience, using an analogy from Noah’s Ark: “If God could wait for even the snail to enter Noah’s Ark, then patience remains a virtue in our struggle.”

Uhor also called on President Bola Tinubu to reconsider the emergency rule in Rivers State and fully restore Fubara’s authority.
