Nigerian music star Kizz Daniel, through his management team, has dismissed reports that a court ordered his personal or business bank accounts frozen over a missed concert in Berlin.
The statements come in response to circulating claims that a German court had directed the freezing of his accounts and demanded payment of over €200,000 as damages.
What the Management Says
In an official press release, Kizz Daniel’s team described the reports as “false and malicious,” intended to smear the artist ahead of his upcoming European tour. They clarified that:
There was a performance agreement dated July 27, 2022, for “Afrobeats Meets Berlin 2022”, set for September 24, 2022.
According to them, the concert was cancelled by the promoter due to visa and travel issues—matters outside Kizz Daniel’s control.

The singer’s side insists that all their obligations were upheld, and that no valid court order freezing his assets exists.
They also stated that claims the promoter rescheduled the show unilaterally were met with opposition, especially because any rescheduling would require new terms, given that the promoter breached some of its obligations.
