A viral video has captured an unforgettable festive moment for Nollywood star Charles Okocha, after he received a surprise cash gift of $50,000 ahead of Christmas.
The generous present was reportedly given by billionaire entrepreneur and philanthropist Tony Elumelu as a goodwill gesture for the season. The clip, shared on Okocha’s TikTok page, shows the actor outside a UBA location as he unwraps a sealed envelope, unaware of what awaits him inside.
Upon opening it and spotting neatly packed bundles of US dollars, the actor is momentarily stunned into silence. Overcome with excitement, he quickly hops into a nearby car to confirm the contents, only for the reality of the gift to sink in moments later.
What follows is a burst of celebration. Okocha erupts with joy, praising and thanking Tony Elumelu repeatedly as he dances and shouts in excitement. At one point, he dashes out of the area, prompting a close associate and security personnel to rush after him to keep things under control.
