In a video, Verydarkman claimed he sent ₦1 million to a former secondary school mate as proof of his generosity. He shared a WhatsApp conversation as evidence. However, discrepancies in the transaction details have raised suspicions.

Verydarkman stated that he met his schoolmate at a salon and later sent money to assist him. However, online users noticed a contradiction in his claim. The WhatsApp chat he presented began on February 3, 2025, while the transfer receipt he shared shows the transaction occurred on February 2, 2025.
This inconsistency led to widespread debate, with many questioning the credibility of his claim.
