Disqualified Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Faith Adewale, has publicly disclosed that he secured a ₦5 million loan to fund his entry into the reality television show.
In a video posted on his YouTube channel following his exit, Faith described his journey into BBNaija as one shaped by bold risks and emotional turbulence.
From Medicine to Reality TV: A Risk Taken
Faith, a medical doctor by training, shared that prior to joining BBNaija, he had returned to Nigeria and was grappling with uncertainty over his next steps.
He said: “I was pissed, like what am I going to do as a doctor in this country? But somehow, clicking that link led me to Africa’s biggest reality show. I took a loan of five million naira and somehow I made it.”
He described the decision as a gamble driven by passion and a desire for opportunity.
Challenges Inside the House
During his time in the BBNaija house, Faith admitted he faced emotional strain, isolation, and moments of regret over decisions made under pressure.
He revealed that he requested mental health support multiple times: “I was overwhelmed … I asked for a therapist over three times because I knew I needed help.”
He also acknowledged mistakes he made while in the house: “I wasn’t perfect … I screamed, I argued, I broke things. I failed tasks. I said things I shouldn’t have said. I lost friends.”
Disqualification & Reaction
Faith was disqualified from the show following a physical altercation with fellow housemate Sultana — a decision that drew mixed reactions from fans and media observers.
Despite his removal, show organisers later confirmed that Faith would retain the prizes he won prior to his disqualification.
