Winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10, Opeyemi Ayanwale Imisi, has named acclaimed actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele as her number one mentor in the entertainment industry.
In a recent interview, Imisi, who emerged as the winner of the just-concluded BBNaija “Breakout” edition, expressed admiration for Akindele’s resilience, creativity, and influence in Nollywood.
She said Akindele’s journey and achievements have significantly shaped her own aspirations to join the Nigerian film industry.
“Funke Akindele is my number one mentor. I love everything about her. I admire her story, her hard work, and her consistency. I’d love to work with her one day,” Imisi said.
The 24-year-old reality star also praised other female actors she looks up to, including Bimbo Ademoye and Bolaji Ogunmola, highlighting their talent, passion, and authenticity in the roles they play.
