‘Abducted Students Is A Result Of Your Incompetence’ – Mr Macaroni Blasts Tinubu, Senators

Popular Nigerian skit maker and Nollywood actor, Debo Adebayo, widely known as Mr Macaroni, has openly criticized President Bola Tinubu and the Nigerian Senate over the worsening wave of terrorism and mass abductions across the country.

The comments come in the wake of a recent attack in Niger State, where armed assailants abducted students and staff of St. Mary’s School, a Catholic institution in Papiri, Agwara Local Government Area.

In a passionate post on his X account on Friday, Mr Macaroni accused the President of failing to provide adequate security, stating that the recurring kidnappings of schoolchildren are a direct result of Tinubu’s “incompetence.”

He wrote: “President Tinubu, you claimed you had all the answers to end terrorism! You said any President who cannot protect the people is incompetent. Every schoolchild kidnapped is a reflection of your failure. The blood of innocent Nigerians being shed due to acts of terror is on your hands!”

The entertainer did not spare the Senate, lambasting lawmakers for what he described as their inability to hold the President accountable.

“And to the Nigerian Senate… My goodness! You have a senate that pledges allegiance to the President they are meant to oversee. You can’t even summon the President to answer questions on behalf of the people you represent! Yet, they know how to line their pockets with our money and misuse their power to oppress Nigerians. Absolutely embarrassing!”
