A 38-year-old man, Segun Oladeyo, has been remanded following his arraignment before a Lagos Magistrate Court in Igbosere for allegedly stealing a Toyota 4Runner SUV valued at N10 million. The prosecutor, Inspector Cyriacus Osuji, informed the court that Oladeyo conspired with others, who are currently at large, to commit the alleged crime. According to Osuji, the theft occurred on December 4, 2024, at around 10:30 a.m., at Adekola Balogun Street, Marwa, Lagos.
The stolen vehicle, a Toyota 4Runner SUV with registration number KRD 764 FX, is the property of Sayeed Farms Limited.
Osuji stated that the defendant’s actions contravened Sections 411 and 287(7) of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2015.
Plea and Bail Conditions
Oladeyo pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. Presiding Magistrate Mrs. O. Wahab granted him bail in the sum of N1 million, with two sureties in like sum.
