The film, a continuation of the beloved Jenifa franchise, has set a new record as the fastest Nollywood movie to hit the ₦1 billion mark.

In a post on X.com on Monday, Akindele shared that Everybody Loves Jenifa has amassed a cumulative total of ₦1,034,091,220. The movie accounted for about 40% of the December box office revenue, with 202,604 admissions, solidifying its dominance during the holiday season.
This success follows Akindele’s earlier triumph in 2024 with A Tribe Called Judah, which became the first Nollywood film to gross ₦1 billion in 21 days.
International Success
The film’s success extends beyond Nigerian borders. Within eight days of its international debut on December 20, Everybody Loves Jenifa earned an impressive $194,560 (approximately ₦300 million) from audiences in the UK, US, Canada, and other regions.
