The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has expressed heartfelt condolences to the Kwara State Government following the passing of Mahe Abdulkadir, Chief of Staff to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. Abdulkadir, a respected public servant, passed away on Saturday at the age of 73.

In a statement issued by Akintunde Sawyerr, the Managing Director of NELFUND, Abdulkadir was remembered as a leader of great integrity and dedication. The late Mahe Abdulkadir was the eldest son of the 10th Emir of Ilorin, Aliyu Abdulkadir. Appointed Chief of Staff 17 months ago, Abdulkadir took on the role following the passing of his predecessor, Adisa Logun, during Governor AbdulRazaq’s first term.
Abdulkadir’s tenure as Chief of Staff was marked by his dedication to advancing the administration’s vision for development and his ability to foster unity within the government.
