Police operatives conducted a search of the suspects’ premises, which led to the recovery of:

  • Several wraps of illicit drugs suspected to be hemp.
  • Two vehicles.
  • Two laptops.
  • Ten mobile phones.

In addition, the suspects reportedly offered a bribe of $17,000 to the police during their arrest. SP Gunn Emonena confirmed that the bribe was rejected, underscoring the integrity of the officers involved. The cash has been registered and will be presented as evidence in court.

Commitment to Justice

AIG Adebola Hamzat, the Assistant Inspector General of Police for Zone 16, commended the officers for their professionalism and dedication. He reiterated his commitment to protecting lives and property within the jurisdiction of Zone 16 and across the country.
