The United Kingdom Embassy in Nigeria has announced a transition in the management of its visa application centres, with a new supplier set to take over operations. The change, disclosed on Tuesday, may impact some applicants, including the locations for document submission and collection.
In a statement shared on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, the Embassy assured affected customers that they would be contacted directly via email with instructions regarding any changes.
“The supplier of our visa application centres in Nigeria is changing. During this transition, some customers may submit and collect their documents from different locations. You will be contacted via email if this affects you,” the statement read.
Despite the transition, visa application centres in Abuja and Lagos will remain operational. However, applicants are reminded that they must book appointments before visiting these centres.
The Embassy also advised those seeking further details about the changes to consult the official visa application website for updates and guidance.
This development is expected to streamline services but may temporarily alter processes for some applicants during the transition period.
