FRSC Debunks False Recruitment Claims, Warns Public Against Scams

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has categorically refuted viral reports on social media claiming the commencement of a recruitment exercise, calling them baseless and misleading.

In a statement issued by the Corps Public Education Officer, Assistant Corps Marshal Olusegun Ogungbemide, the FRSC clarified that there is no ongoing recruitment process and no immediate plans for one. The Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, urged the public and job seekers to disregard the fraudulent claims.

The FRSC emphasized that any legitimate recruitment activities are conducted transparently and publicized through official channels, including the FRSC’s website, social media platforms, and the National Traffic Radio 107.1FM.

Additionally, the Corps warned against falling victim to scammers impersonating FRSC representatives, stressing that it would not be liable for losses incurred due to such fraudulent activities.

The FRSC remains committed to upholding transparency and credibility in its recruitment procedures and advises individuals to report any suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities.
