Tune Protect EMEIA UAE has formed a strategic partnership with Nigeria’s Leadway Assurance Company Limited and Tune Protect Re in Malaysia to introduce digital travel and lifestyle insurance products via the business-to-business (B2B) channel in Nigeria. As the leading digital travel technology provider in the EMEIA region, Tune Protect is collaborating with Leadway, a prominent Nigerian insurer, marking Leadway as Tune Protect Re’s first African B2B partner focusing on travel assurance solutions.

Under the partnership, Tune Protect EMEIA will utilize the advanced travel technology solutions of White Label Ltd., the insurtech subsidiary of Tune Protect Group, to supply Leadway with an extensive range of more than 10 travel and lifestyle insurance products. This selection includes Tune Protect Travel Assurance, Travel Lite, Air Charter, Student Travel, Adventure, Electronics, and Pet Travel Assurance among others.

The partnership was officially launched in August 2023, with a comprehensive suite of 12 insurance solutions to cater to Nigerian travelers and potential customers across Africa. Tune Protect EMEIA’s CEO, Arijit Munshi, expressed enthusiasm about expanding into the African market, noting that the collaboration leverages their robust experience in travel technology from Europe, the Middle East, and India.

Leadway’s Managing Director, Tunde Hassan-Odukale, highlighted the partnership’s significance, noting that it would empower Leadway to offer digitally integrated travel and lifestyle insurance solutions tailored to the evolving demands of modern travelers.
