Achievas Entertainment Limited, a leading showbiz company, made a historic debut with its concert Beer With Us Festival (BWUFEST) on Friday, January 6, 2023, at the Landmark Leisure Beach, Oniru, Lagos. The highly anticipated event surpassed expectations, attracting thousands of attendees and creating an unforgettable experience for music and beer lovers.
Reflecting on the success of the festival, Achievas’ top executive, Daniel Chiori Cole, expressed pride in the brand’s achievement. “We estimated over 10,000 attendees, but we had more than expected, and we are indeed glad,” Cole remarked. “With this debut edition, we made a statement.”
Aishat Anaekwe, one of the producers and known as First Lady, emphasized the significance of the festival. “It’s a great opportunity to bring world-class entertainment to Lagos,” she said. “This festival gave music and beer lovers a truly premium experience, blending the best of Nigeria and Ghana in one electrifying space.”
Another festival producer, Nwanevu Ogechi Cyril, popularly known as Pencil, highlighted the hard work that went into creating the show and expressed satisfaction with the outcome. He also encouraged plans for a second edition.
The festival kicked off with back-to-back music from DJ Spicy, while the event host, Eric ‘Mr. Hyenana’ Adebamiro, energized the crowd. Aspiring talents from the audience showcased their skills, with one freestyle rapper winning an iPhone in a memorable moment.
Performances throughout the night were nothing short of electric. Nigerian singer Ugoccie delivered a striking performance with her unique style, and the crowd favorite, Iyanya, impressed with his signature dance fusion.
Ghanaian sensation Black Sherif captivated the audience with hits like First Sermon, Second Sermon, and Kwaku the Traveler, while Seyi Vibez’s interaction with the crowd displayed his rising mainstream popularity.
Asake, the YBNL signee and Mr. Money crooner, closed the night with a show-stopping performance of his hits Palazzo, Sungba, Terminator, Joha, and more.
Elvis Ahior, a top business manager and strategist, praised the event’s success, noting that fans are already eagerly anticipating the next edition of BWUFEST.
