Top Nigerian music stars Burna Boy, Tems, Asake, and Ayra Starr have made waves on the global stage by securing nominations for the prestigious 2023 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards.
Burna Boy, a Grammy Award winner, leads the pack with nominations in four categories, including Best Male R&B/Pop Artist, Video Director of the Year, Viewer’s Choice, and Best International Act.
Fellow Grammy winner Tems also earned multiple nominations, competing for Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Best Collaboration, and Viewers’ Choice.
