African fintech company Inlaks, in collaboration with South Korea’s Hyosung TNS, has introduced two cutting-edge ATM models—MX 5600ST and MX 8600T—at the annual Committee of e-Business Industry Heads (CeBIH) retreat in Ogun State. These new ATMs are expected to redefine the payment systems in Nigeria, offering advanced features such as Near Field Communication (NFC), barcode scanning, fingerprint biometrics, and enhanced security measures.
Inlaks has been a key player in supporting Nigeria’s Cashless initiative by deploying over 6,000 Hyosung ATMs to various banks. The company, in partnership with CeBIH, aims to drive the adoption of electronic banking services using innovative technologies and standards.
Babatope Dare, Inlaks’ Executive Director of Infrastructure Business, emphasized that these self-service ATMs are designed to meet new consumer demands while ensuring reliability, efficiency, and user-friendliness for banks. Chang-Hak Kim, Vice President of Hyosung TNS, praised Inlaks for pioneering best-in-class payment solutions and expressed eagerness for future collaborations with the Nigerian banking sector.
