The students of Command Children School in Ikeja, Lagos, have received mobile libraries, schoolbooks, school bags, and other educational supplies from itel Nigeria in honor of Children’s Day in 2022.
Superstar and Itel Brand Ambassador Olamide attended the August event with the theme “Stars of Tomorrow,” further solidifying the Itel brand as a brand for everyone.
The company that makes TVs, appliances, accessories, and cellphones is well-known for its Love Always On CSR Initiative, which it uses to help needy communities and children nationwide.
The kid-focused event included games, face painting, and other enjoyable kid-friendly activities. The most memorable part, though, was when Olamide “Baddo” Adedeji encouraged the students to set lofty goals and not allow their circumstances to limit them.
“I am a young person from the corner who decided not to let his surroundings determine what he becomes,” he remarked. You can become excellent by working hard, being dedicated, and praying. You don’t have to let your past define who you are. You can become whatever you want to be. Having a mentor is a fantastic idea for you.
“Always be focused. Some individuals believe that success consists on having money, power, and knowledge; these things ought to be available to everyone in this room. Success is a function of the mind. Never give up and always do your best effort, he advised.
“Children’s Day is an annual day set aside to celebrate our children, the leaders, pacesetters, and stars of tomorrow,” stated Oke Umurhohwo, itel Marketing Manager for West Africa. We decided to start the Love Always On project because of them, and we will keep giving back to the community because of them.
“Our children deserve to be celebrated and supported in every possible way because the future belongs to them.”
