Reality TV personality Josephina Otabor, better known as Phyna, has sparked widespread online conversation after a tense moment at the birthday celebration of Big Brother Naija 2025 winner, Imisi.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at the event venue, where Phyna was reportedly denied entry by security personnel.

A video circulating online captured the former BBNaija housemate visibly upset as she explained what transpired. Phyna claimed she was stopped at the entrance because she was livestreaming the event for her fans. She said organizers and security officials insisted she turn off her camera before being allowed inside, a condition she refused to accept.

Phyna expressed disappointment over the situation, stating that her presence at the party was purely to celebrate Imisi and show support, not to create any disruption. She questioned the necessity of the restriction and alleged that she was unfairly singled out.

The reality star also raised concerns about what she described as selective enforcement of the rules. She suggested that other well-known content creators or streamers might not have faced the same treatment if they were in her shoes.

Security personnel at the venue reportedly stood their ground, insisting that filming and recording were prohibited during the event. However, Phyna maintained that the policy appeared inconsistent, which escalated the confrontation.

Reacting emotionally, she was heard saying, “If na Speed or Peller come here, you go tell them to drop camera? I came to support Imisi, not to cause any problem. You people are embarrassing me for no reason. Why is it only me you are stopping?”
