This new release follows his highly successful 2021 album “Back in Office”, which topped charts and accumulated over 40 million streams, with the lead single “Holy Father” dominating radio airwaves for five weeks and spending 13 weeks on the UK Afrobeats chart.
With “Certified Loner”, Mayorkun reasserts his position in the music industry, delivering an Amapiano-inspired track that has already gained popularity, particularly on TikTok, where a teaser of the song went viral, leading to nearly 300,000 user creations.
The single showcases Mayorkun’s signature Afropop style, enhanced with playful Amapiano elements. Released just in time for summer, the track is sure to resonate with his dedicated fan base, known as “The Geng,” who have eagerly awaited new music from him.
